BufferList.tsx:1012 shows the badge only when buffer.unread > 0 && !muted, so a mention in a muted channel shows nothing. Muted servers are also dropped from the rail's totals entirely (lib/groups.ts:268-275). Muted rows are not dimmed - only a 13px icon at 0.6 opacity marks them (BufferList.tsx:1005; app.css:329). A LIVE badge also replaces the unread/mention badge (1010-1015).
Discord dims muted channels but still shows a mention badge on them, and still counts mentions on a muted server's icon.
Fix: dim muted rows; keep mention (not plain unread) badges on muted rows and in rail totals; show LIVE alongside, not instead of, a mention badge.
