store.startReply (state/store.ts:4591) doesn't focus the composer.
The reply chip is plain muted text with no background or avatar (Composer.tsx:733-742, app.css:1716-1725), and there's no way to choose whether the author is pinged.
Fix: a reply bar with its own background and the author's avatar; Esc cancels; starting a reply focuses the box; a Discord "@ ON/OFF" toggle. Daemon: send allowed_mentions.replied_user on Discord replies.

Esc puts the reply down (after any open autocomplete list has had its turn).
Starting a reply focuses the box, so the answer can be typed straight away.
On Discord there is an @ ON / @ OFF switch: with it off the author is not pinged. The daemon sends allowed_mentions.replied_user accordingly (nobilis 918fcfa).
