Closing: Sneedchat is considered feature-complete for moho's purposes.
The backend covers connection over the embedded Tor client with the site's
proof-of-work gate and login captcha, the room catalogue and motd, history, sending,
editing and deleting, whispers, smilies, attachments via an upload host, and moderation.
Earlier passes closed#40, #58, #70, #112, #174 and #175.
The September 2026 review found two things the web client has that moho does not -
typing indicators and reactions - and neither is wanted: this is the one protocol here
whose own client does not meaningfully have them either, and nothing in moho's use of
Sneedchat is worse for their absence.
Reopen if the site grows something worth following. #196 (ibb.co as a second image host)
still touches Sneedchat, since like IRC it shares a picture by posting a link to one,
but that is a host problem rather than a Sneedchat one and is tracked there.
