Ignoring somebody is cross-protocol - #131 made it so, and the window calls the generic setIgnored (src/renderer/src/state/store.ts:1771), which the daemon dispatches per
service.
Reading that list back is not. The only ignore-list UI calls listMatrixIgnored
(src/renderer/src/components/MatrixAccountTools.tsx:85). The generic listIgnored
(nobilis/src/rpc/methods.rs:4098), which answers for any service, is never called.
So on IRC, Discord and Kick, ignoring is a one-way door: somebody can be ignored, and
from then on there is no way to see who is on the list or to take them off it. The
setting is invisible and permanent from inside the window, which is worse than not
having it.
The daemon already answers this for every service and even says what the ignore costs
on each - there is no backend work here, only somewhere to show it. Probably belongs
beside the existing Matrix ignore list, generalised rather than duplicated.
Found by a September 2026 sweep of all 182 daemon RPC methods against every string
literal in src/. setKickChatMode was excluded on purpose: it is unreachable too, and
says so in its own comment (#167). The methods listed as superseded by that sweep - uploadFile, listDiscordCommands, setMatrixIgnored, openIrcQuery, setMatrixRoomState, unsubscribe - are fine and want nothing.
