Font size preference (Small/Medium/Large/X-Large) sets the base
font-size on <body> via an inline style. Proxy media toggle adds
the cookie/form infrastructure; actual URL bypass is deferred since
it requires threading the pref through all formatter call sites.

The SCSS usage was light — variables (already mirrored as CSS custom
properties), nesting, and 8 simple mixins. Modern CSS supports nesting
natively so the preprocessor added no value. All mixins inlined at call
sites, $var references replaced with var(--var), and --shadow/--shadow_dark
added to the body custom properties. Removes the ~50 MB dart-sass build
dep from the Nix flake and eliminates the sass compile step from postInstall.
